Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms cover bysoft.site and the games we host on its subdomains. They are deliberately short, because the arrangement is simple: we make games and put them on the web, you play them.

Playing our games

You may play our games, for personal and non-commercial purposes, at no cost and without creating an account. You may link to any page on this site.

What we own

The games, artwork, sound and all writing published on this site are ours. You may quote short excerpts of our articles with attribution and a link back to the original page, which is the ordinary practice we want to encourage. You may not republish an article in full, repackage our games as your own, or sell either.

The things we do not own: the physics library and other open-source components our games depend on, which remain under their own licences, and the third-party advertising that may be displayed on these pages.

What we ask you not to do

Scores and saved data

Because there are no accounts, your best score and daily-challenge results are stored only in your own browser. If you clear your browser storage, switch devices, or use private browsing, that data is gone and we cannot restore it. Local leaderboards are yours alone and are not shared or verified by us. Please do not treat them as authoritative records.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. We are a very small studio, so pages may occasionally break, change, or disappear, and we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We do try to keep published games playable indefinitely, because a game you can no longer open is not much of a game.

Advertising

These pages may show advertising served by third parties, including Google. Those vendors may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control which specific ads appear.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms, or requests for permission to do something they do not obviously allow, can go to our contact address. We read everything and would rather be asked than guessed at.
